SMELL LIKE A MAN
SPORT SCENT SO EVEN WHEN YOUR CLOTHES ARE CLEANED AFTER SPORTS YOU STILL SMELL LIKE SPORTS
SMELLING LIKE SPORTS MEANS YOU ARE A MAN BECAUSE ALL MEN PLAY SPORTS AND IF YOU DO NOT ALWAYS HAVE SPORTS SMELL YOU NEED TO MAN UP!
SMELL LIKE YOU CAN MAN AND ALSO LIKE YOU CAN SPORTS
what i want to know is if, previous to this invention, straight men were afraid to wash their clothes or be clean
I’m honestly really confused…
First of all, was there really a market for this? I have known plenty of single men who are quite straight who know how to do their laundry and used just regular bounce sheets.
Like, why gender a product like this? I mean, if it increases sales and market research shows otherwise, okay but…
The actual fuck?
"why be straight and cis when u can be queer and tr-"
hi lets not treat lgbtq+ identities like fashion trends
uh, i feel like those types of posts are more suggesting people explore their identities rather than just…
The reason why a lot of people dislike these posts is because the wording implies that identifying as anything is a choice.
Many of them tend to say things such as, “oh, straight girls, have you tried girls?” or “ugh being a cishet is so boring why would anyone want to do that lololo.” The posters above have pretty much acknowledged their existence based on their responses.
Don’t get me wrong. I understand that on some level, it’s a way to take out the frustration that social norms and legal constraints have on you. I get it, I totally do.
People are pissed off because wording such as the one described in the example unravels what LGBTQA+ activists have been pushing for decades. It reinforces the idea that identifying as [x] is only a phase and is incredibly harmful. It doesn’t normalize these identities. In fact, it sets them apart and only strengthens the divide, chopping up the struggle into the overly simplified dichotomy of cishets and non-cishets. That dichotomy in and of itself is also dangerous, as it dilutes the ongoing conflicts within the community, as well.
The responses definitely contain some interesting information. For one, I agree that we need to break down the norms of what an identity is often thought of as being. We certainly need to encourage exploration of one’s identity, and that a lot of people really do need to do just that. However, posts such as the ones OP and I describe aren’t the solution. These posts aren’t funny, and they don’t normalize anything - they only use identities as platforms to create an immature, passive-aggressive argument. By saying, “Oh, this is so cool, why don’t you do this?” or “Why be this when you can be that?” you are, in essence, saying that the person reading has a choice in how they identify.

Pinkie Pie in the last Equestria Girls - Rainbow Rocks Sneak Peek !
#270 Lotad - The leaf on Lotad’s head grew too large for them to live on land so Lotad now inhabit peaceful wetlands, like lakes and ponds, where they float on the surface. It is known to ferry small Pokémon across ponds by carrying them on the broad leaf on its head. If it does not drink water for too long, the leaf on its head wilts.
I don’t care for its evolutions at all, but I fucking love Lotads. I even have a plushie of one. And on my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky its one of my main party members (mainly as a sniper).
